I'm in the market for a passive type pick-up to slap in the bridge position for my sl4. I'm looking for something similar to an EMG 81 as far as a good separation of strings, brightness, and being gainy as hell, which is most important factor! Not into Duncans as I've yet to find one I like! Dimarzio X2N sounds like a good choice so far! Suggestions??

I've never known anything passive to sound like an EMG. For a start, it's active, and the tone is compressed and normalised.Fuck ebay, fuck paypal
