Any using tube preamps before their line 6 gear? (Studio UX2, X3, etc)

I just got a pod studio ux2. The tones I've been tweaking for years with gearbox sound night and day better now especially through dual amp on podfarm.

I was wondering if anyone here is using tube preamps before going into their line 6 equipment and if so is it worth it?


I'm split between getting a Rocktron Pirhana and an ADA MP-1 for this at the moment.

I've used my Piranha with the guitarport, sounds pretty good to me. Bypass the Line6 amp models and just use the speaker modeling.
