Supposed to be a Europe/Japan only distribution. One of my friends that was really tight with Steve Fryette got him to make a 120 volt version for him and had it shipped to him here. I saw it when it came but, didn't get a chance to hear it.

Are these true Steve Fryette built VHT power amps or built by the people who took over his VHT name and build them in China? Just wondering.

no no - those are the real thing. they were not made recently either. the new VHT does not make amps that are like the previous VHT. So you won't see 2/xx/2 amps and stuff like that.

There was limited run of 6L6 power amps. Very few are floating around the USA. Very few made at all probably. I never used one or anything, but just sharing what I know.

Knowing Steve, these probably have transformers that match 6L6's specifically as opposed to standard EL34 models with screen current and bias voltage changes and 6L6's thrown in.

I am always looking for clean Jackson 4X12's (the silver metal grille version). PM me if you know of any!

Gotcha, thanks. I thought he was referring to something recently built.

Thanks Guys.... Just saw one on Fleabay, I think it sold yesterday. Would have bought it myself if cash was more available. It looked SWEEET. Well I guess my 2/50/2 will just have to be enough.
