  • Looking for suggestions - Reverb/Delay

I'm looking for an affordable solution to adding a few basic effects to a portable rig. I really want reverb and delay, but any other modulation effects would be an added bonus. I don't need any o/d or distortion...are there any good multi-fx pedals that just have reverb, delay, and modulation only? I don't want to pay a lot for extras that I won't use. Thanks!

just find an old digitech or rocktron rack processor. they can be had for around 100 if you scour the pawn shops. i got an old blk rocktron intellifex for 75.00.

some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

Old G-Major... Or if you want even simpler, I have seen G-Sharp going for pretty damn cheap.

I have a Kilpatrick Audio Lush Puppy...it may be a little pricey for a pedal but it sounds great

I'm using an MXR Carbon Copy pedal in the FX loop on my setup of course my amp ( Valveking 212) has a built in reverb but its rather lame. I use the pedal for all of that and it seems to work pretty good granted my reverb through the pedal is more of a slapback delay than an actual reverb but it was an excellent choice to keep from buying 2 or 3 pedals it has a modulation setting in the pedal as well that can be turned off and on and can be adjusted inside the back cover, and its analog which IMO sounds alot better than digital effects. Good luck.
I want to go out nice and peaceful in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming and hollering like the passengers in his car.

Just get any descent rack processor. Something like an Alesis Midiverb would probably work excellent and cost next to nothing.
