That's what I usually use, or the heavy red Dunlop Gel picks. I've tried others here and there but just keep coming back to these because they feel the best.

                Dunlop Tortex green.

This is the ONLY pick I will use. And if the little turtle has started to wear off, I give it to a homeless guy, because it's no longer up to my standards.

                    Same here!

I use the Juratex Jazz 1.2mm when playing guitars with middle pickups and Dunlop Ultex 1.14mm or Clayton Ultem Gold 1.2mm for guitars with no middle pickup.

Now that Dulop Ultex Sharps are out, I'm switching to those in 1.14mm from now on:

All I currently use now are Snarling Dogs 1.14mm (orange) Perfect gauge for me. The grip on them is nice. I might try something a little heavier next time, but these do the job.

i use medium celluloid fender 358 mandolin picks.

i have used them since 1988 and cannot use any other pick. it kinda sucks because these are hard to find, so i order them by the gross. they get lot easy too.

i like them because i only have enough pick to give attack. my right index fingernail also hits the string and helps give me "tone".

i have tried the red jazz III's and find them to be too thick. they sound different to me....more of a dull, muted sound. the fender pick has a nice, clear attack.
                        GEAR:

some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

                        and finally....

i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!
