  • Pedal Power!!!!!

Sounds like a Super Friends catch phrase doesn't it?

    Or maybe Captain Caveman.

Anyways.....what are some pedalboard power options? I know of One Spot, and the various Bricks out there, but is there anything else out there like the One Spot. Or do they pretty much have the market cornered?

    depending on your set up...

imo the 2 best options are:
    1. voodoo labs - Pedal Power 2 - if you have a good many pedals of various brands.
    2. pedalsnake - if its just a few that can take the same power supply.

i'm sure others will chime in with even more options.

      BBE Supa charger.

Over on the gear page, the voodoo lab's CEO had started a thread accusing BBE of stealing his old design and coming up with a cheaper chinese made BBE supa charger. If you dont care about all that, that's a cheaper alternative than the Voodoo labs. I think its even got a 110/220 power option.

I use a Gator G-bus, but the outputs are not isolated so if you have a pedal that puts noise out on the power jack it will get sent through to the other pedals too.

        But it was cheap

Gator Cases produces a vast array of protective solutions and accessories, catering to everyone from budding musicians to seasoned studio and stage professionals.

I'm using the pedalsnake + two one-spots to power my pedalboard w/ 11 effects from varying manufacturers. Compatabilty w/ the one-spot is very rarely an issue. I think the only effect choice that was affected by that was MXR 10 band eq vs. the Boss eq-20. MXR was not compatable. Everything else I have considered was no problem.

Went all rack and midi recently, but prior to that I used an MXR Power Brick for over 2 years and the only issue I ever had was one of the adapter cables went bad.
