Okay. Well, you're gonna blow up your speakers if you keep doing that. Do not use speaker cable from a guitar or effects pedal either. Guitars and effects use instrument cables. You're looking for a world of trouble, so good luck with that.
The PA output on the pedal is intended to go direct to a PA system. You've got no clue.
DO NOT PLUG ANYTHING INTO YOUR CABINET EXCEPT AN AMP HEAD OR POWER AMP, AND ONLY USE SPEAKER CABLE WHEN YOU DO.I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.

I didnt think a pedal could do that considering that they have no power section and neither do cabinets. But then again I dont own any digital pedals that can run into a PA"Too bad Kurt didn't teach John how to aim a gun."

Even I can afford 12 lousy bux .
Get them home. Already have the appropriate 1/4 to 1/8 jack needed to use the RP50 the I own. Hook everything together, plug the Charvel in and strum. Holy crap!!! Sounded fuckin AWESOME!!!
This is by far the best bedroom amp the I've ever come up with. Not super loud, but can get more than loud enough for the bedroom. Hell, I bet if it were miked up through a PA, you could play a gig with it. It would have to rank up there with the lightest weight rig ever . It sounds GREAT. Best part is, you can get just about any tone you could ever need probably, just dial it in (press buttons ). It fucking ROCKS!! Computer speakers ...whouda thunk?!?!
And it only cost me $12.00. I almost feel guilty. Not quite, but almost.
Oh yeah...
I've used the RP50 through a real amp many times, and never really like its tone at all. With no amp to color the tones whatsoever though, it sounds damn good!!
I run my RP250 through a Roland VDrum monitor...and I've told folks its my amp setup of choice these days. Mic her up to a PA and it screams. Quite portable as well, and its got more than enough volume to use as a practice setup at home. It does not color the sound at all like my Randall cab which I hated the sound of with the RP250. I would imagine a keyboard amp would work great also. The VDrum monitor has separate speakers for both the highs and lows mounted within each other. Best part is...no amp hiss. When you stop playing...dead silence. Great for recording.
Funny thing is, I bought that thing for use with my Roland VDrum kit since I've been learning to play drums over the past couple years, and it really sucks as a drum amp which is what it was built for. I was about to cut it loose, and I was frustrated with the sound of the RP250 as well, so just for shits and giggles, I threw them together. Sounds great. Smooth quiet cleans, and nice crunchy distortion. All of my other amps sit there unused these days.Last edited by BayRocker; 10-31-2009, 07:56 PM.
