...as an Overdrive pedal? it rocks! its a Monte allums tri-mode sustania mod'd MT-2 I picked up on the bay for $46 after shipping.
I have a Mark IV for tone comparison and I'm getting great tones driving a cheap Crate V33 head using the MT-2 as an OD pedal (with distortion all the way down) and level 3/4 way up. the MT-2 has a parametric eq and I can select the right freq's to boost. I have a Boss GE-7 in the loop to get a good scooped sound. My tone is similar to Petrucci's Octavarium tone.
