I'm thinking about getting a vocal effects stomp box that does a few simple things like pitch correction and harmonies. I don't want to spend more than a few bills since I would only use it occassionally. Anyone got any good suggestions?

i use the antares AVP-1 and a midi controller. it sees most of its use in my studio, but i have used it live and have been more than happy with the pitch correction.
a friend of mine uses the digitech vocalist floor pedal for harmonies and he loves it.GEAR:
some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!
some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!
and finally....
i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!
