TC Electronics G System and Peavey Triple XXX

Hello folks:

Question: Would I need special cables to use a TC Electronics G system with a Peavey Triple XXX. I'm talking about assigning effects to different channels and being able to switch them.

The XXX has a midi style connector for the footswitch, but I don't think it is truly midi. Given that, I don't think the G System can control channel switching on the XXX. I had a XXX for a year. I don't know about a special cable to connect the G-sys to the XXX though.

I think that with a custom made cable you can do channel switching with the G System.
