Just sold one, I never played it
I like my Framus Dragon and 6505+ more lol!, I used the money to get a Mesa over sized
      4x12
You will like it as it does do a lot of sounds, and if you put a boost in front you can do some heavy stuff with it

Seen used ones at GC but never plugged in.

I'm very happy with the DSL100.

I have always disliked the jcm2000s, not enough power for me.

those came loaded with 6l6's stock.... Marshall purists shunned them... the midi switching is a cool feature. No John, these are tube heads 25w 50w 100w selectable. These had not been big sellers but I think they are way underated. If you can snag one cheap (and u did!) they are a lot of bang for the buck.

They came with 6L6s because EL34 quality/supply was so poor at the time. I believe Satch toured with these at one time and used a DS-1 into the clean channel.

I had one for awhile, but it was terribly unreliable. It was broke down more than it worked. But when it did work it sounded pretty good. I don't recall hearing of major quality issues with these, so perhaps I just had a dud.

$900 sounds like a great deal btw.

no offense to those amps just not my kind of amp. I had the tsl602 and the crunch channel and lead werent that great and the clean was ok. I use a lot of gain to the point were its almost fuzzy.

Yeah all the forums said to get the EL 34 one but I love 6L6s.

Last time I checked 100 watts was 100 watts. Same power as your 6100.

6L6's are a turn off for me.

You got one of the worst amps from the JCM2000 series, a TSL602. Trust me, a DSL100 1/2 stack doesn't sound that bad. I played a TSL100 1/2 stack and had a hard time getting a good tone out of it. It was used at GC and maybe needed a tune up, or, it just sucked.
