I have had a JCM2000 for almost nine years now. It sounds great to me but I know there are better amps available (of course they cost a lot more). I was told it was the same as the 30th Anniversary head.
It looks like you got a great deal, but I think the type of speakers you're getting is pretty important. I've seen some inexpensive 4x12 cabs on CL and the reviews of these cabs were pretty bad. Hopefully you got vintage 30's or 70's.

I had one of the 100W combos for a while. With the EV speaker, that thing weighed a ton.
I never had a chance to play it through a cab, and I only had it a couple of weeks, but it did have some killer tones. The crunch channel in particular had what I consider the classic Marshall sound. "Balls to the wall", for sure.
I remember that it actually had a microprocessor in it...possibly the first Marshall with a microprocessor? You didn't just shut this amp off; it powered itself down. If the volume was turned up, you'd get a loud thump through the speaker when it decided to turn itself off.
All in all a decent amp, but way too many switches and knobs for me. Give me that one great sound with a four-holer or JCM800 and I'm happy.

Well I went to Guitar Center to pick it up but right when I was about to pay the salesman tells me he cant give me the amp. Seems the amp has a hold for 2 more weeks and he didnt tell me this when I put it on layaway. After telling me this he says he would come back but he never did, after an hour of standing around another guy said sorry we cant give it to you but its policy. So whatever I left amp less but left on it layaway (my vox amp broke down on me tuesday so 2 weeks without and amp woluld be brutal) so I go on craigslist and find this for 200 dollars less. A 5150 block lettering with a 5150 straight cab for 700 an awesome deal in my book. So pretty much forget Guitar Center never going back.
