I've been looking into different products available to reduce AC power noise in my guitar rig and came across the newer Furman power conditioners with LiFT technology. I'm trying to get rid of hum/buzz and was wondering if anyone has used this? Did it work well and is there anything better?

Every musician battles hum in their signal chain. The EHX Hum Debugger turns it into dead silence, courtesy of a little Electro-Harmonix magic. No matter what...

I should mention I haven't used one of these myself so I can't give a first hand impression. But that's just because I keep buying phasers, flangers, eq's and chorus/delays instead of this pedal. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one based on the videos though.GTWGITS! - RacerX

From the demos and reviews I've read this unit produces artifacts. It's still definitely worth a try IMO.

The EH Hum Debugger I ordered arrived today. I tried it with a JCM2000 and a bunch of older rack effects and it helped a little on the "normal" setting. It produced a lot of artifacts on the " strong" setting and colored the tone (sounded like a chorus). I tried this on an old crate amp and it worked REALLY well! Since I might get some Line 6 products in the near future (practice amp and maybe a POD, etc.). I'm hoping it works well for these smaller set ups, too.
As it stands now I'd recommend this EH unit to anyone with a simple guitar/amp set up, e. g., a blues player using a Strat and Fender Twin, etc. It's useful but not up to the task of silencing noise from several EQ's, a compressor and a separate spatial effects processor.

Shield your guitar first, seriously, done right it has the greatest affect on noise over anything imo.
Decimators and Furmans, expensive cables, blah blah, none of it did what just shielding the cavities of my guitar with copper foil did. Instant silence.
At least try it first before you spend a hundred or more on a fancy thingamajig only to be likely disappointed.
