Is it possible to put EL34 and 6L6 tubes into a Mesa Boogie Single Rectifier, or is there not a space to do that? Or could I mix EL34 with 6L6 in the amp?

Some amps let you do it. Some dumbass put 6L6s in the first Marshall I bought and it worked. I can't remember 25 years back as to how it sounded. It was a wierd Marshall - 4140 Town and Country (Marshall's answer to the Fender Twin). I was stupid - it said Marshall, and it was only $300 in a pawn shop.

hope this helps.
