The Polytune is true bypass as well. I replaced my Pitchblack with it. I bought the Pitchblack because it worked well in sunlight. It may make an appearance back if I do an outdoor show this summer.

      Hello all!!
My pitchblack came today. So far I'm very pleased with it.It seems very fast and accurate.I haven't had much time to play with the different modes yet.

Just wondering what everyone's preferred mode is?

I still want to look into the polytune sometime to compare and see which I like better.

Thanks for the replies and input!!

I just leave my Pitchblack in the default mode. Its very easy to see on stage for live use and compact enough.

          Thanks Rudy!

That mode does seem to be the best.Fast and easy.
So far the pitchblack is a winner!

Yeah, I tried the other modes on it when I first got it but found the standard one to be easiest to use in the middle of a gig.

This is my grip as well.

Any way to change this, or am I stuck.

The magic lies in a never before seen approach to tuning aimed at speed, accuracy and ease of use. With PolyTune, you simply strum all strings on your guitar...

Wow.... just wow. That is some cool stuff. Thanks for that one, Jack. I had no idea that existed.

You can tune to anythinhg with any tuner. I have a cheap Planet Waves tuner and a Peterson Strobo-stomp and either works fine.
                  I like EL34s.
