I'm curious what people around here think of these for practicing, and figuring out songs. Does the record/looper work as well as it's sold as? How about the time-slower-downy-thing, does it keep pitch well enough to transcribe songs? And the actual jam features, can you play along without the song sounding like canned poo? I'm thinking about grabbing one of these, and would apppreciate some feedback.
Otherwise is there a whats good alternative for plugging an Ipod into and jamming with? Ideally being able to slow tracks down to try and transpose songs. What do you guys use for this? The speaker systems available for MP3 players look cool for just listening to tunes, but less than easy to deal with if you want to jam along or figure out songs.
