Today I was able to score a -new out of the box- VHT Pittbull CL50 head (with EQ) for a really fair price. Apparently the distributor changed and Fryette ditched a few dealers over here so I got a good discount on this VHT. One of the last VHT's on stock perhaps (before the name change, at least it was the last one at this dealer)?
This is one classy amp for sure. I really like the "dry" high gain sound of this amp, but it is capable of much more I guess. Just got it for a few hours so I'm still tweaking and trying out a lot of settings to get the tone I really want. If anyone has some suggestions to get a good metal tone, please share them.
