jcm 2000 into jcm 900 1960 cab which ohms to which ohms?

just got a jcm 2000 dsl head and a jcm 900 1960 4-12 cab. i wanna know if im hooking it up right i have the 16 ohm from the head into the 16 ohm on the cab?? is this how its supposed to be hooked up? i didnt get a manual with it. it sounds incredible and loud as hell!! \m/\m/ i just dont want to mess it up hookin it up the wrong way. thanx joe s.
