Amp Suggestions please?

I need a new amp due to the reason that mine sounds like shit and I can only get one stupid tone on it, so things to base the suggestion on please. ^_^

I play metal
I'm going £600 at the most.
Not too loud, I'm only a bedroom player.
I want a valve amp.

Try used ,Im sure the 60 watt version can be had cheap now that the 100 watt version is out. Great amp for what you want .

If you are interested in bugeras, i would play one first. I loved the sound from the videos when I was looking at trying a 333xl or a 6262 but when I found a 333xl to try out, it wasn't (live to my ears) as thick and gainy as I hoped. So the video/audio reviews may not help as much as we'd like.

Carvin X100B, has 25w mode. Does classic rock to full shred. Have to import from here in the states though. $699 new right now.
