Has anyone tried the 18V mod to Seymour Duncan Live Wire pick ups? :think: Just getting bored and thinking about trying this before i go back to passive pups.

I was just looking throught the wiring diagrams on the SD site and all of the Livewire diagrams (not the Mustaine ones) are wired 18v. Like they are supposed to be 18v??Every man dies... Not every man really lives!! -
I have the Mustaine Livewires, and I didn't know that the Livewires were 18v. The Mustaine Livewires are 9v, I wonder why.Comment

Always did EMGs at 18volts after trying it once, big difference.I want to go out nice and peaceful in my sleep like my grandfather, not screaming and hollering like the passengers in his car.
