  • Marshall AVT 50 H

Any love for these out there?
Found one in a pawn shop for $275.00 real clean too.
If anyone has opinions post up.
I have cabs with 75's and V30's so you think it may be worth it?
    Really? well screw Mark Twain.

Yes. See my thread about the new cab. I have the AVT150 combo, and I had an AVT20 before that. They're brilliant amps.

I didn't care for mine..can't really say why..just didn't sound "right" to me. I sent it back after 3 weeks of trying to make friends with it.

I still may go back and get it.Its a 2007 and in really clean condition. If I can get them to budge on the price a little that would help.
I made some calls and everyone I knew that had one really liked it.You know the drill they liked it well enough but sold them for some reason.

I have an AVT 50 combo, but it doesn't get a lot of playing time anymore.

Nice for what it is, the clean channel definitely needs some chorus or compression to bring out a better tone, but the crunch sounds pretty good.

I did get it and it has all the bells and whistles.Nice Fx chorus, delay, some nice hall reverb settings too.
Crunch is pretty good when you hit the scoop button.
My only complaint is when using headphones the vol runs at one setting.
