ENGL E530 + Roland VG-99 possibility

Hi everybody!
I am going to buy Roland VG-99 soon. Couple of days ago found amazing ENGL E530 tube preamp. Now I'm thinking if there's a possibility to connect these 2 devices together, I mean will I be able to change tunings with Roland but playing through ENGL at the same time? Or adding some Roland effects while playing ENGL? That would be sweet deal for the money: ENGL tube sound, Roland alternate tunings, acoustics and tons of other effects. I need these for headphone practice and I can't actually afford playing out loud in my apartment

Any FX loop on the VG ??? If yes, it should be quite easy to mix both together. Keep us posted.

No, unfortunately there is no effects loop on the VG. I found a post with the same question as mine, but questioning about VG-99 + Axe-FX. Couldn't understand much but nobody could give a definite answer. I wish I was not a complete newbie about how to connect these units and that they were compatible.

Won't be able to help as I was thinking the VG99 to be like a super GT8 or GT10 as both of these units have a FX loop.
