    I can't tell you how much it rocks. Give you the Brown Eye, Saturation Switch, and solid state loop. It turns it into a little monster.

      I've got a Pico and the stock JCA20H. The Pico is a dark amp so you need to use it with a bright guitar. Swapping tubes around is - I like a KT66 in it. The JCA20H isn't as dark sounding - moderate gain.

      Neither amp is going to make you dump a good amp if you have one. They do take pedals well and they cleanup alright when you roll back the volume. They're fun to have around when other folks come over but I couldn't see using them for anything too serious.

        The pico in the other thread is at the amp tech getting a new OP trans.
        Sold my other one today for some quick cash may pick up another just to mod for the fun of it.
        Not a bad amp and yes very dark and no headroom at all.
        The one I sold had a KT88 and two 12AT7's, the tube swap did wonders as far as being able to get a decent clean out of it.
