I just picked up an EH nano series LPB-1 for use as a solo boost in the loop but man it colors the sound badly. It's almost like a half cocked wah when I step on it. I've heard good things about the BBE boosta grande. Any other suggestions?

i have used a boss hyper-fuzz for...probably 15 years now? it has a clean boost function that i LOVE. so aside from the 2 types of fuzz you get, there is 2 band eq and the clean boost. sounds great too!!!!!GEAR:
some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!
some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!
and finally....
i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

@chrisolson - I had a brief look at that one on the web as well. It intrigues me for sure. I'm assuming you mean this one... http://www.jimdunlop.com/product/mc401-boostline-driver
I'm also considering a keeley katana.
Basically I am looking for a boost that colors the sound as little as possible since it's purely for a 5-10db solo boost.GTWGITS! - RacerX
