      Good call on the drums & speakers issue. Hadn't thought it through that far, but it definitely makes sense not to crank drum patterns through the stack.

      I assume if I save some rhythm guitar + drum loops in memory (playing at low volume through the stack) that I could then put the pedal through a stereo for playback and play lead through the amp to play louder as another option.

      If not, I do have a cheap solid state lying around not being used...

        I have one built into my GT-10. I used it once, found it fiddly and non-expressive sounding.
