  • Another Amp Review... Hartke GT60

Hartke GT60. 2 channel head. Its a small head. 60w. Solid state power, 1 x 12AX7A preamp tube so I guess its almost a hybrid.
2 channels, digital reverb, both channels can go from clean to scream. The amp is loud and very clear. Effects loop, channel switching, seperate EQ's for each channel. The front of the amp has this cool window where you can see the 12AX7a lighting up.
Very nice build quality. Typical Hartke quality.
Sounds very nice. Great clean, lots of gain, very quiet. Totally portable.
I never heard of this amp. I never saw one. I never heard one. I though Hartke only made bass equipment. Wrong. This amp rocks. Cheap sucker too.
Funny, take that Kustom KG100HFX head I bought last week and put that on the left side of the stage. Take this Hartke GT60 and put it on the right side of the stage, add a few speaker cabs and you could gig just about anywhere in a 2 guitar band for next to nothing!!
Here is a pic of the amp...gt60.jpg
