Got this today pretty clean for an 86.
Of all the old 70's Peavey's this and the Mace sound really good.Nice Fender cleans.
4 old RCA 6L6's and SS pre amp.Cool sounding amp lots of low end too.Loud as hell

Sweet, I remember a lot of pedal steel players using that amp in the 80's. Very cool.

Fixed the broken fuse holder today and pushed the hell out of it,A ballsy amp indeed.
Effects gain on 2 and normal gain on 8 gives a nice fat pushed OD.Tons of bottom end push.Very southern rock type sound.
Series or parallel inputs seem to drive the amp harder and get better overall tone, maybe need to keep this one around a while.
A fun amp to play but OMG loud!

I had a Mace VT. Never got to messing with it too much. Needed the automixer footswitch, never got one. Would have liked to do more with it but sold it.. Now I have a Renown 400... and still don't have a switch.... doh!!!
