  • POD XT Live?

    Hi,
I was wondering if any of you have any experience with this board? Is it any good?
I'm looking at a used one for $115, as that an OK price?

    Thanks in advance.

Ok, so i bought it. seems great, though i need to toy around with it more.

I'm wondering whats the best way to use it? If, i want to use it with my Powerball head, i should just but it in the FX loop and use it as a preamp? can anyone anyone tell me how to do it the best way?

        cheers!

First I'd try running into the FX return or the Power Amp In if you have that. Bypass your pre-amp totally and see how it sounds. Turn off cab simulation at first, since you already have a real cab.
If you just want to use the effects pedals you can put it into your effects loop or you can put it in front of the preamp with a guitar. Check out the manual on line6.com - it has complete descriptions of the different ways to set it up. You have many options.

Congrats on your purchase, I've gotten a ton of use out of mine.

I got mine for $250 and I thought that was a steal.

I did upgrade to all the expansions and it was well worth it.
