I wanted an upgrade from my Randall RG75 G2 that I've had for a few years to a louder amp. So I took a trip to the local used gear shop and walked away with this used Fender Frontman 212R. Besides the great price, the speakers have been replaced with a 75W Eminence Redcoat Tonespotter & a 50W Patriot Cannabis Rex. It's freakin loud! I haven't been able to play it past 2 (yet) with my Boss ME-70. From reading up on the web it's a budget amp made in China, with the vintage look of older Fender Twin Reverb amps. Im about to properly open it up at a friends house later tonight. I hope it doesn't let me down.
