  • Pedal boards with 120v outlets

    Hey guys

Not a big pedal guy but find myself with 3 or 4 that I use for a few songs. One is a Morpheus drop tuner which runs on I believe 12v and not 9.

Is there a smaller pedalboard than say the Furman products that has outlets for wall warts? The Furman product looks great but at 20lbs with the bag and NO pedals its a bit more than I want to lug around.

Am I better off just building my own board with a power squid or something?

Thanks for any thoughts you have to share.

    Take one of these.... http://prostagegear.com/products/pedalboards/jr/

    Add one of these.... http://www.voodoolab.com/pedalpower_2.htm

    Profit!

The Jr come with brackets (I believe) to hold the voodoo lab power supply. The larger models do for sure. The power supply will do 9v and 12v output and it has a 120V pass through so you can plug in a power bar as well to power your amp or other oddball power supplies.

I use the pedaltrain 2 with the same power supply and the soft case.

Cool investigating both..... DR, looks like the gator has some 18v ports... not sure they'd work with the Morpheus @ 12 unless there's some method of step down....I think I might be stuck with the wall wart, which is why i was looking for a regular ol' 120v AC plug.

Maybe I'm missing it- Investigation continues....
