Another vote for the Digitech TSR24S. Used one for years with my MP-1 & the quality of the effects are pretty good. My only gripe is that there is a slight lag when changing patches via midi. I replaced it about 5 or 6 years ago with a TC G-Force. Felt like I went from a Ford Escort to a Boss Mustang ha ha! The Alesis processors were used quite a bit in the 80's and can be picked up pretty cheap. Back then my first processor was an ART SGE. Man I thought that thing was awesome. I also thought that the Atari was awesome & nothing could top it!!!

An overlooked reverb/delay unit from the day is the Ibanez SDR-1000. I have the "+" version and it's an incredible true stereo (two inputs and two outputs) reverb from the day. The great thing is that the presets are dialed in great to start with so I never programmed mine. I just selected what I wanted and adjusted it a bit.
