my amps (porn)

i gathered up most of the amps today for a little photo shoot. i have another rivera half stack, as well as a blackface twin reverb, at my band's rehearsal space. these are the goodies i keep at home and/or gig with.



(left to right) rivera S120 w/ rivera R4x12T, egnater tweaker w/ my rack and a rivera C210 and a rivera C112, fender tremolux w/ rivera M100 combo and a rivera C112.

my rack has:

furman power strip
behringer tuner
rocktron hush
roland GP8

it is simple, but very effective.

HOLY CRAPOLA!! I thought I was the only one who still owned a Roland GP8!!!

I've had and used mine since '87 and JUST recently 'replaced' it with an Axe FX Ultra.

Great stuff man...the Rivera gear is badass.

i like the GP8. it is a bit primitive, but the sounds go well with a cranked tube amp. i am looking to get another effects unit (probably a digitech S100 or another studio quad) for "cleaner" sounding effects and more options. but the GP8 is certainly cool. it kills running in front of the tremolux...

i have had several marshalls, and while i like them, i think the rivera does marshall a bit better. plus, i get the fender clean sound. actually, i guess my riveras do more of a marshall/boogie blend with the gain channel. the clean channel does a good approximation of either blackface or tweed fender, but with A LOT more power. like i have said numerous times, these riveras are just the shit!!!!
