  • Guitar Rig Question! What model sliding shelf are you using?

Got a few cool pedals that I will incorporate into my rig via a GCX Switcher and need a good metal sliding shelf for the rack.

Any model that you are fond of?

whatever the brand was that AMS sold about 9 years ago. I put my pedals on it in my rack, and my Axess switching system. I drilled holes in the shelf and zip tied all the stuff to it so it wouldnt move around.

velcro works well too. but for some reason I cant remember...... I chose zip ties instead of velcro.

Probably to maintain some value in the pedals when you got bored of them. I never buy pedals that someone has plastered velcro all over.

Why not? My pedals have a bit of velcro and when it comes time to sell it comes right off with a little WD-40 and voila! New pedal!

I guess, most people aren't that careful though. I guess I am just a bit ocd about my pedals (all my gear for that matter) being in nice condition.
