  • Delay Pedal Question----->

    Believe it or not, I've only ever owned one delay pedal. It's an Ibanez DE-7, and I suspect it might not be working properly. Problem is, I have no reference. On the rare occasion I run the stereo outputs into 2 separate rigs, when the pedal is disengaged, only one amp is supplied with a signal. I would prefer it if rather than cut that signal off altogether, it would just shut off the delay effect, and send a dry signal to both outputs, and therefore both rigs. I kind of assumed that that is how a delay pedal SHOULD work. Do some delay pedals work that way? Should mine work that way, and it's broken?

    Verdict?

      I only use mine mono.

      I would assume if the delay is a stereo delay though that it should still output a dry signal to both outputs while in bypass mode.

        I've tried a couple over the years and keep finding that delays are not my thing. I always ended up getting rid of them...and never used a stereo one, sorry no help.

          I had an H20 chorus/echo pedal that stopped sending wet signal to one output one day. It got stripped and scavenged. Id say your pedal isnt working right either.
