Shipping a Tube Amp

Should I take the tubes out and wrap them up or ship the amp with the tubes installed?

Mine have always come with tubes installed (new & used), and I've shipped them the same way. Never had an issue - knock on wood.

my mesa & splawn came new with the tubes packed in bubble wrap and I had to install them.

my used Bogner Shiva came with tubes installed and it was fine.

so who knows.......
