So, will I be able to do the channel switching with the GT 10?

Yes. The Boss GT-10 allows you to switch both its internal A/B preamps and the channels on your amp (it has an amp control jack). I'd suggest pairing it with a decent amp like a Randall RT50.
      Fuck ebay, fuck paypal

It will go with a Randall RM22.

If the RM22 only has a DIN connection, then my guess is that the GT-10 WILL NOT be able to channel switch.

That last sentence doesn't make sense. Are you saying the RM22 isn't a decent amp?

Didn't say that at all. I've never tried an RM22. I do know that RT50 has a serial FX return.

but Econ is asking for effects suggestions to work with the RM22 he already owns, not for amp suggestions

Yep. Just effects processors I could use with the RM22 that will enable to assign effects to each module and then switch between these modules. I want to assign chrous and reverb to a clean channel/module, then delay and compression to the dirt channel/module and being able to switch back and forth between them.
