Ok, so my 6505+ combo has 1 16ohm 12" in it, and I have a peavey 2x12 cabinet that is 16ohms. When plugging in this extension cab, should I be on 8ohms or 16?

8 ohms if your using the combo speaker AND the extension cab.

Thanks guys! That other cab as an extension makes all the difference in the clarity of the highs. I now have my ideal tone...for now.

I have a great amp, the best I've ever owned in fact, but it's a combo. It's cool that it's portable in a pinch but it sounds like shit on its own compared to when it's powering a 4x12 cab or two. Night and day.Comment
