Humbucker with strat tones? I never heard of such a thing lol. I have a cheap meskin strat that does the strat thing nicely when needed. Whole different animal from my HB guitars.

Years ago I had a guitar teacher who had a nice two tone SB strat fitted with a OFR. I don't think it was a factory model...it still had three singles...but what an amazing sounding guitar in his hands, wow. Strat is not my thing but I have a lot of respect for it.

LOL use a SH-3 stagmag from Duncan. Basically 2 single coils put together. Just coil tap it and single coil and can still do humbucking tones if you want it

Look at the pole pieces on that thing--lol. They look like round bar stock. According to SD it sounds like a vintage Strat when split.
