If you like the rig exactly as it is but need to fix the aesthetic aspect of it I would get a live in road case for the whole thing! Not cheap but then again neither is a new 4x12. You can have it built to house the Mesa cab on the bottom, the head up top, and a built in 4 space rack to mount things like your G-Major, a Furman power strip, etc... I would leave everything on and plugged into the power strip for power. When you want to play you simply flip on the power strip and wait a couple minutes to kick the Engl off stand-by. Your ready rock, all your gear is protected, it looks good, and its your exact rig as you like it now
BTW Bill, this line cracked me up! "I'm nuts!..I'm fuggin' Rainman and Monk's love baby..Monkman!"

All I have to say is the bad horsie II is a sweet wah. I have one and love it, although I have a tendency to Hammett up with it.

Dude, I have a Dunlop 535Q with 5 way freq sweep selector. I really love that wah, when I rarely plug it in. My son wants a wah for Christmas. Mine is like new with the plastic shit still on it with box. I could give him that one, and buy a Bad Horsie. Have you played the 535Q? How would you compare them. I love the idea of switchless..but of course tone is most important...and I value your opinion.

            Please anyone chime in..

I haven't tried the 535Q Bill so I can't give a proper comparison for you. I do LOVE the switchless operation and it sounds great to me. I prefer the Horsie II over the Horsie because like the 535Q it lets you tweak the sweep frequency (continuously, not presets) and also has an adjustable boost built in.

I used to own a Dunlop Crybaby 95Q switchless... it was pretty sweet. Now I mainly use a modded Crybaby (vocal mod more to Vox specs... modded by our own jgcable) and it's awesome. I also own a Morley Mark Tremonti switchless wah that's like a cross between a vintage and modern sounding wah... really cool wah.

Bill, I prefer the horsie over the 535q. After playing morley wahs the dunlop starts to sound nasal and feel limited in how far you can physically move the actual pedal, if that makes sense. That being said, I'll take a tremonti power wah over the horsie as the frequency sweep just sounds better to my ears.

                  edit: damn you Toejam!
I feel festive all year round. Deal with it.

Had a Rocktron Tri-wah for a while and loved the 3 position voicing knob.

Haha, I know the feeling... I use an all rack setup (Engl too, btw) with the band and I got the chance to pick up another 412 cab some time earlier this year. I thought to myself that I could always use another cab, either as part of a full stack with the band or with a yet-to-be-determined head at home. Then I bought the Mesa Mark V, and I can't help but look for a Mesa cab for it. I know there's no rational reason for me to prefer a Mesa cab, in fact, you could argue that the Engl is a better choice since it's super nice and costs half the price of a Mesa Rectifier cab here. Anyways, I had to fit some effects in there with the Mark V too, so what did I do? Well, I ordered a nice rack case with Mesa-like tolex and all

Oh, and I had them fit the depth to the top of the Mark V!

I really like the Bad Horsie II. I got it mainly because of the switchless operation. As far as the built in boost, It doesn't really boost it that much. at least not in front of a high gain amp. Maybe mine is broken (I did get it used). I would really like to try to Mark Tremonti wah. I've heard good things about it.

Ya know you're right. It's not that bad. I suppose I could get a live in case for it. It would come in handy anyway when it comes to lugging gear in the rain or snow.

Javert, you have the same problem but in reverse!!! I'll trade you my Fireball for your Mark V and everything will be perfect! I thought The Engl and Boogie Rectifier or Traditional cabs were around the same price no? I thought the V30 Engl 4x12 was $1000 and $1200 with greenbacks. Aren't Boogies around $1000 as well?

Actually, Boogie cabs er more like $1600 here! But you're right that it's not that much more expensive than the Engl V30 cabs. Mine are V60 though, so the standards.
