I got a 112 recently and like it so much I decided to say Merry X-mas to me and order the 212. It sucks the 212 doesn't have seperate EQ's but hard to imagine it not sounding better, 2 speakers is better than 1 and it looks like the cab is a lot thicker. Any of you heard both?? Just curious if I'm wasting cashola or in for a real tonal treat.

The 2x12 is made in the USA if I'm not mistaken where the 1x12 is the 6505+ which is made in China. Also the 2x12 is a beast in terms of weight if you're hauling it around.
If you want a thicker sound with the 1x12 put in a different speaker like an Eminence Legend or Celestion C80 to replace the V30. -
I won't be packing it around, it's for the house...and volume isn't an issue, luckily I can crank it. A friend of mine had the 5150 combo and I remember it weighs as much as a small car, but I also remember it roared with tone...the 112 seems a little tame, flat.Let go, let GuitarComment
