Good idea! At NAMM two years ago I saw a bright fluorescent green marker that you can use to put little marks where your settings are yet you can wipe them off with your hand if you so choose. I think it was the same company that puts out those pedal risers.

I guess I'm not very computer literate, cause I can't figure out how to fix it.

            Cool ideas so far.

I do need a volume pedal and i just got a MXR EQ waiting on some couplers and then ill start dicking around with it.

I really think its going to be hard to beat some of the tones i get with my GT10 but hell i will try.

Been wanting a AXE FX Ultra though. after listing to new Devin Townsend album which was all Axe Fx and Broderick on new Megadeth. Gotta get one!!

Been using a Boss GT-8 for several years. I use it with the 4CM (loop my amp's pre into my GT8). Very happy with it.

I've used it with my 4 amps: Marshall DSL50, Peavey 6505, Traynor YC40 and Mesa Mini Rectifier. Had never had any problem setting the GT8 with these amps.

I tried a few times going back to pedals but I always come back to my GT8 for ease of use/versatility. It even switches my amp's channel.

I think it all depends on what you are looking. YMMV

I'd like to trade my GT8 for the new GT100 but not ready to spend 550$...

here's mine, also have an MXR 10 band and a CH-1 chorus on top of the amp in the effects loop.

                      ZW wah
                      early 80's Phase 90
                      ZW OD
                      Maxon SD9
                      MXR 117 flanger
                      Boss TU2 tuner
                      Boss NS-2 noise suppressor

Once I get some cash together, I'm going to build a road case and have the wireless setup, MXR, and chorus mounted in a rack to help simplify the setup.
                      Red JDR-94
Maroon PS-3T with shark fin neck
                      Duncan Invader pickups
                      Jackson>ZW Wah>Vintage phase 90>ZW OD or Boss SD>Maxon SD9>MXR Flange 117>NS2>Bugera 1960>effects loop>boss chorus>MXR 10-band>effects loop return

I like it a lot, the thing has a SERIOUS amount of sweep, if you rock it all the way back it'll actually almost cut the signal, but there's a great usable sweep. the voicing is right for using a lot of gain, it works great for bluesy stuff too.

ok I lied, I love it lol.

I cut back the space rack to a simple setup... a noise suppressor, ISP Decimator in the loop, Tube Screamer, 10-band EQ and a PolyTune.

                              Does it for me.
                              I like EL34s.

                                That's what I'm using:

The output of the Boss LS-2 goes into the input of my Boss Katana Head. I use a factory digital delay within the amp.

And yes, I prefer the Boss Bass flanger. I think it sounds better that both the Boss BF-3 flanger or the MXR EVH 117 flanger.

That's all I need for the time being.
