I used a 462 with my ADA MP-1 in my old rack and loved what it did.
It just came alive with a little lo contour and process added. I never needed an eq after I got the BBE.
Sadly, the rack just sits in storage as I run a 5150III and need no eq/boost of any kind.

The BBE..the 422 especially is not a one size fits all unit. Some amps sounds like instant ass with them in the loop. But in my experience they do wonders with 5150/6505s. Hmmm I had 6 Peaveys now and they're consistant.
