The gig went great. The Budda with the SD-1 out in front worked out great. I didn't even need it for many songs. Tons of compliments on my tone. Its an amazing amp. It feels alive. Just wants to make you play all night long.

10 days later... how do I feel about this amp now???

I love this amp. 6V6's are the way to go.

Nice. I got a Budda catalog a few years ago and have always been intrigued by them. I should pick up a 6V6 and try it out in my Univalve. I do have a 6G6 that I use once in awhile, but I don't think they make those any more. I thought the 6G6 was similar to the 6V6, but I'm not exactly sure.

6V6, 6G6, 6K6 - all very different but cool vintage tubes. i bought a batch of NOS RCA 6K6 tubes for my fender reverb unit a few years ago. the reissues shipped with 6V6s since the 6K6 has been out of production for years. it made an incredible difference. the reverb in so much more spongy but doens't distort like it did with the 6V6...

glad you are still digging the amp john. i am 100% in love with the old vibro champ. my home rivera rig is collecting dust because between the fender and the egnater i am getting everything i want....
          GEAR:

some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!
