  • Effects issue

Hey guys, I have a really strange problem going on with my 6505+..... I was practicing my scales today and every so often the reverb cut out and then switched back on. Im using a boss rv-5 in the effects loop.... the gain and everything seems to be fine and doesn't cut out which makes me believe this is more of a problem with the effect itself.... Or the power supply thats powering the rv-5, an iso noise decimator, and a maxon 0d 808. The cut out is very brief and I'm not loosing anything but the reverb, also pondering a cable issue?

check cables first. remove everything else from the signal path except the reverb and go through your cables 2 at a time. you will be able to determine if it is the cables or the pedal this way...
    GEAR:

some guitars...WITH STRINGS!!!! most of them have those sticks like on guitar hero....AWESOME!!!!

some amps...they have some glowing bottle like things in them...i think my amps do that modelling thing....COOL, huh?!?!?!

    and finally....

i have those little plastic "chips" used to hit the strings...WHOA!!!!

It's the awesomeness of the Crossed Swords sucking all the power out of the air. I have the same issue.

If the reverb is the only effect in your effect loop, my first thought is having dirty contacts in the effects loop.
