ok, bought a Gh100L from a kid for $160. The amp powered on, tubes lit up but no sound would emit when I flipped the standby switch. Thought offering 160 was still a steal so he took it.
Get home, change all thetubes. still no sound. check the fuses. all good. open the amp up. Ah Ha! Little 5x20mm 1amp internal fuse, blown.
Get some fuses from radio shack, the package says fast acting? anyway. Put it in, turn it on. Sound comes in briefly then I see an arc on the fuse, it blows.
After inspecting the PCB board and everything, I see no noticeable brown spots, or blown components. What am I looking for here guys?
