Demo'ed through the front of a solid state Randal. Bought it £399. Certainly does sound improved on certain patches. I was very tempted to spend another £130 and walk away with a Jackson DK2T instead. I figured I'll wait til I sell a guitar before I buy another one. It played so well. I just hope I'm not regretting this decision. Not gonna moan at the lack of a digital output. This machine is going through my Randall RT50C next week.

I've had a week now. My first quest was to try duplicating what I'd already done on the GT-10. Not hard at all.
Pros:
Dual screens (whoopy )
Easy to use if you've used a GT-10 before
Manual mode pedals can be assigned per patch rather than global
Extra effects: sub distortion (not necessary)
Cons:
No digital output
No metering of any kind
No GT-10 patch compatibility (had to manually copy parameters)
Reamping is via USB only, so reamping from a mixer requires DI box
T-comp makes no audible difference (found in preamp section)
ACCEL is a wasted gimmick.
Not a great step up from the GT-10.Last edited by wilkinsi; 08-13-2012, 10:04 AM.Fuck ebay, fuck paypal
