  • NAD: Peavey Vypyr 30

Had this for a couple of weeks now & all I can say is ..............
.........why couldn't they have these things years ago.

The best part is how cheap amps are these days. It's been a while since I bought
one, ive not really had the need for one but wasn't happy with the sounds I was
getting out of any of my non-EMG guitars.

So here I am, with the Peavey Vypyr 30 & it is incredible to say the least.
Haven't cranked it yet but the sounds are superb. It's gonna take a while to
suss out everything this little beauty has but ive already discovered quite
a few suitable powermetal distortions which is my priority.

I was lucky enough to know someone with one so I could try it out before making
the purchase, so.............lucky me I guess.

If anyone is in the market for a small amp with a big sound that's loaded with
everything you could ever want (and easy to use too), don't piss about, go have
a look at one of these, then buy the damn thing.

I don't really need one but was thinking about the cheaper option. The other pedal over here is nearly double the price of the amp, just not worth it to me.

When I got my trans blue DK2, the excitement blew away as it sounds awful. I was going to EMG this like my others but I put a D'activator X in it & it
sounds phenomenal now, even my el cheapo stratocaster sounds cool with high gain. What an awesome amp.

I went thru a few modeling amps before getting a vyper. I had a 50 watt VOX spent 500 on it gave it away, had a roland cube sold that one too.

The cheaper pedal adds a loop function and wah/volume pedal...well worth picking up
