The 6505 60wt 1-12" combo is light and portable. NOT like the 5150 2'12" 200 lb slab o shit. I got it to hang with my kid sodomizing his drums..barley (much mids required). Then My Uber and Marshalls ATE it like a Great White eating a minow. He was sad. So ..I got it to hang with my Uberschall at its loudest. I had to. Took nothing but a Peavey PA cab w. 300wt Black Widow..which happened to be the exact dimension. It looks like a perfect stack. The sound of the 12 shefield with the 15" Black Widow is pretty fuggin' bad ass. No it doesn't like the BBE sonic stomp, or any fuzzy fuckface pedals. He just uses the amps reverb, NS-2, and DD-3. Better than anything I've heard mentioned so far. These are facts.

He's quite happy and lucky 'nuff to have me for a crunching, chuggin', pudslappin tone crafter...as a daddy. No I never pudslapped him. But I haven't ruled it out..I told him this.

I'm thinking 1500 dollars US money would sneak it through.

On a more serious note it must suck living where it's tough to shop.

My kid practices with it in his bedroom and basement. It's loud as you want it. It's all preamp gain. All anyone has to do is have practice "quiet" settings, and loud as shit, face melting settings. This may require to adujst as couple knobs. Crazy ones..like Low, Mid, High..even Resonanace and Presence. Complicated shit !!!!

I hate when I hear these fags.."well I can't get that loud stack poweramp compression at low volumes..because I need my notes to sing for days..sometimes weeks"....faggylick fuckstick ect . Listen to me you fuggin' over-analytical fuckholes. I heard your notes "sing"..they suck! You want your amps and guitars to sing..make 'em sing...ghal! Yeessh, my kid and I can do the "Machine Gun" note and talk over it. In fact, I'm showing him exactly how to do that stuff with pitch and vibrato..sustain..ect. watching TV, bedroom levels.
These kids lack that shit..too much mathcore. Adding extra strings don't add extra talent. His bud has a nice Argile 7 string Baritone. He plays fast chuggy shit riffs like a bass player..cool. But can't bend ONE of those seven strings to save his fuggin' life. I show him how to play what he's going for..and he loves it. He has to.

Go forth and try the endless plethora of guitar shit...the endless infinite sea of shit..found by the Voyager and Casssini. deep..deep into ..lots of shit!

If you can't get ANY decent guitar with 6505 combo to work. Then find a new hobby. ..like eating sidewalk chalk or some shit.

Terry if that your equip list sig. I think slippin into what I suggested would be a perfect fit. 500 bucks new over here. aprrox 350-400 used. Best bang for the buck for a firt tube amp. 5150s/6505s are cheap tried and true work horse tone machines used by some of our very faves. Well, Steve Stevens amoung others toured with them. ...Dude..Steve Stevens.

Why go small?
In your case spend the money all at once.
I don't just build amps, I work on them, so GOK what might sail through the "shop" at any given moment.
The old 5150's sound good even at "just cracked" volume.

You don't hear many people asking for an attenuator for them.

I believe you..then tell him to put out something worthy. From his heart and not for labels. I know, I heard the same thing from signed players. But All the more reason to melt faces when doing something like this. My guy is Jeff Loomis..and Uli Roth. They do what they want. That is what a muscian really is to me. I understand making a living, playing to a demographic, pop, a fanbase..but yeesh I wish guys like this would put their balls back in their sack.
