Mesa Oversized Recto is what I would do if you want low end. Trad. Recto works fine too.
Orange cabs are really nice but an acquired taste. very warm.
Personally my next cab (if there is one) will be a Zilla... www.zillacabs.com

Ok I'll be waiting to buy when I have a chance to play these in person. As for practice amps, anybody have experience with those smaller Roland's? I hear good things and that is a cheaper mistake.

If you can find one, get an old Peavey Butcher/VTM cab with the G12K100s. That's what I'm running my Dual Rectifier through, and it sounds fucking huge. If you can find one, they are usually pretty cheap too. There's one for sale near me for $250 in very good condition. It looks nearly mint.Comment
