Yep, level is maxed out...actual OD is on...I'd say...2-3%?...like nothing...I'm pretty stoked about it...little green fukin bastard...kills it.

AND, as the distortion is down on my amp...its really not very noisy....maybe a tad more then it was but not much at all....

      I'm glad you like it.

Another under $25 eq pedal...'best kept secret' is the danelectro fish n chips. try that as well if you're planning to add an eq. Low noise and again, dirt cheap.

Yeah, I heard about those when googling EQ's.....I'll likely will check it out at some point.....

I also picked up one of those ZOOM H1's for recording rehearsal...I'm actually amazed at how good it sounds....for 100 bucks....it well worth it.....

I've got a few distortion pedals right now (tight metal, megalith delta, HM-2, Du hast, triple wreck, reezafratzits 2, Od808) and for a really good distortion pedal, I'd say the Amptweaker Tight Metal takes the cake. It sounds like an amp and you can use it as a preamp by plugging into the return of your effects loop therefore bypassing the amp's internal preamp. It is versatile and has a built in noise reduction system and a built in effects loop. James Brown, the guy that designed the 5150 builds this pedal. You can use 9 or an 18 VDC power supply too. It acts like a variac when you do this. The guy from Misery Index uses it as his main sound.
